   The first is Hardiah (2018), This classroom action research (CAR) designed to improve the listening ability of students by using audio-visual media. The subject of this research are students of English, University of Bengkulu Diploma Program who take the course Listening For Lecture . This study was conducted in two cycles of progress namely; planning, observation, action and reflection. Moreover, collaborative learning methods are also applied to stimulate student activeness in the classroom. The results showed that the use of audio visual media is able to improve the results of listening course. In addition, the students also Become more motivated and enthusiastic during the lecture which can be seen in the group discussion stage that implement colaborative learning. Hardiah’s research has the similar purpose with this research, it is use of audio visual media to improve student listening skill. The differences are the research of Hardiah use audio visual methods while this research uses audio and focus on song lyric analysis.

   The second is Master Meriati Simanjuntak (2020) The purpose of this study was to investigate whether the application of learning strategies using songs could improve students' listening skills. This research was conducted through a Classroom Action Research (PTK) research design. The subjects of this research was the first grade students of the Imelda Medan Senior High School which consisted of 34 students. The similarities between simanjuntak's research and this research are that they both aim to improve students' listening skills using songs. while the difference is that this study increases the interested, activity and motivation of students through listening to songs while the current researcher aims to improve students' skills and abilities in understanding meaning, in order to communicate well.

   The third is Khairiah Syahabuddin (2021), this research discussed about to find out the information about the improvement of students’ listening skills on using podcasts. This study involved 15 students in the fourth semester in the Department of English Language Education of Universitas Islam Negeri ArRaniry Banda Aceh. The purpose of this study is to discover the use of podcasts in improving students’ listening skills. The quantitative technique was used in this research. The data were obtained from the preexperimental technique. This research was conducted to find out the information about the improvement of students’ listening skills on using podcasts. The similarity between Khairiah Syahabuddin's research and this research is on the skills to be improved, namely students' listening skills. the difference between Khairiah Syahabuddin's research and this research is in terms of the type of research method applied, then the media used is also different, this study uses song or music media while Khairiah Syahabuddin's research uses podcast media.

   The forth is Ahmad sauki puttaki (2018), this research discussed about The Effectiveness Of Using Song Lyric Toward Students' Vocabulary Mastery At The Eight Grade of MTs N Muara Bungo In The Academic Year 2016/2017. In this research, the writer used a quantitative research approach and this approach is experimental with true experiment. The research is to get the objective data of the effect result between using song lyric method as the independent variable and students vocabulary mastery as dependent variable. It was found that there is a significantly affectly the use of song lyric. The similarity between Ahmad's research and this research is the media used in improving students' English skills, but focuses more on improving vocabulary. The difference between Ahmad's research and this research lies in the research method and also in the skills to be improved.

   The fifth are Ni Luh Gede Windy Lestary and Si Luh Nyoman Seriadi (2018), this research discussed about Using songs in the learning process especially in the listening lesson it makes the students can improve their listening skill as one of their meaningful strategies to overcome their problem in listening skill. English song can make the students become active in the class, they are interesting, and so they can do a listening task well. However, utilizing songs in the listening process has the challenge, such as; pop songs are not scientify, and inefficient sound systems in schools may cause problems while listening to songs, etc. According, utilizing songs through technology in a lesson environment attract attention. Using songs in the learning process especially in the listening lesson it makes the pleasant atmosphere in the class and make the teachers explain the topic or the material easily. The difference between sustainable research and this research is in the objectivity of listening skills that you want to improve.
